Egypt will be in strong position after Shalit swap: Israeli official

Amos Gilad, director of policy and political military affairs in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, said Egypt is in a strong position after its role in negotiating the release of captured Israeli soldier Shalit.
The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post reported on its website that Gilad said the Israeli state and military forces are responsible for the detained Israeli soldiers' safe return home.
