CAIRO: Egyptian exports increased to 15.9 billion EGP (U.S. $2.7 billion) in July, according to a report from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). The CAPMAS report also said imported goods declined 186 percent in July to record 29.5 billion EGP (U.S. $5 billion), meaning the trade deficit has declined to 13.5 billion EGP (U.S. $2.3 billion). Egyptian exports went mainly to Italy and the United States, while goods were imported from Chine and the United States, according to Abu Bakr el-Gendi.
