Min of Culture holds celebration at AUC to activate tourism

American University in Cairo organized a celebration at the AUC headquarters to reinvigorate tourism. The celebration will be Oct. 13 from 6 pm until midnight.
The celebration comes as the result of coordination between the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism.
The celebration's proceeds will be allocated to reinvigorate tourism in Egypt with an emphasis on social inequality. The effort will seek to harness the national spirit prevailing among young people.
Invitations were sent to Egyptian officials, including Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, Minister of Tourism Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, Minister of Culture Emad Abu Ghazy, and chairman of the department of the Egyptian Tourism Activation Institute, Amr El Ezaby.
Ambassadors from the United States, Russia, Germany, and the European Union were invited. Invitations were also extended to actors Basma, Isaad Yunis, Ahmed Ezz, and Mohamed Saad.
