The Festival of Tender Stars for the Arab Nation's Blind, held in Cairo, will hold its final conference on October 15. Awards will be given to artists from Egypt and Kuwait. On the sideline of the conference, there will be a press conference to announce the country that will host next year's festival. Head of the festival, Abdel Baset Azab, told Youm7 that the festival aims to offer a new model on how to treat the disabled. He said one of the main objectives of the festival is to support the creative activities of the disabled and to honor prominent artists throughout the festival. Azab added that the festival would be held in different Arab countries to support cooperation among Arab peoples and to succeed where politics fails. He added that the festival would announce its objectives and recommendations in a press conference.
