A 14-year old Muslim girl was ousted from an exam in a secondary school in Madrid after refusing to remove her Hijab, reported the Spanish newspaper 20 Minutos. The Hijab is the headscarf some Muslim women opt to wear. Eivan Khemins Eibar, the girl's lawyer and a specialist in these sort of cases, sent a report to the school manager saying the student did not commit any wrongdoing. The girl is of Spanish origin. Her mother did not wear the Hijab, but she decided to wear it of her own accord a few months ago.
