The Egyptian Minister of Solidarity and Social Justice, Gouda Abdel Khalik, said a regular meeting of ministry officials discussed international agreements concerning the rights of those with special needs. In press statements today, Abdel Khalik added that the Arab region is witnessing developments that require an Arab strategy to combat poverty. Abdel Khalik pointed to the need to support the Council of Ministers of Arab Social Affairs in Somalia and Djibouti confront natural disasters. He added the necessity of implementing of the Arab declaration for development's goals and the decisions of the Arab Summit on Economic and Social Development.
