CAIRO – All workers in the public transportation garages returned to work this morning except for the Giza and Imbaba garages. The workers' strike lasted more than two weeks. “Most of the drivers returned to work today after officials threatened them with dismissal,” Soliman Abdel Halim, a drvier in el-Teraa garage, told Youm7. Drivers and collectors in the El Mazallat garage assured that their war against corruption wasn't over and claimed that they will call for a new strike on October 20. They also claimed that they will protest outside the Cabinet headquarters, not the Council of Ministers.
