Telecom Egypt to reduce cost of landline call to 0.14 EGP

Egyptian Telecom Company announced it will reduce the price of landline calls from calling mobile lines to 14 Egyptian Piastres (U.S. $0.02) per minute, and 10 Piastres (U.S. $0.016) for opening call fees.
Egyptian executive director of Egypt telecom Company Mohamed Abdelrahman said this reduction is within the framework of hard competition in the Egyptian telecommunications market.
He also said Marhaba telecommunications cards will provide the same price, 14 Egyptian Piasters per minute.
