Egypt sent two military aircraft loaded with aid to Pakistan earlier to help citizens struggling in the wake of flooding and heavy rain. The disaster led to 400 deaths, the displacement of seven million people and the destruction of 1.5 million arable acres of Pakistani farmland. This is not the first time that Egypt offered humanitarian aid to the Pakistani people, said Saeed Hendam, Egypt's ambassador to Pakistan.
