Founders of the National Project of Wheat finished their preparations to launch a public campaign among Egyptian communities with a number of European countries' support. The campaign aims to introduce objectives of the project to Egyptians abroad as a part of Egypt's strategy to protect the Egyptian food security, especially with the current food crisis worldwide. The campaign will start with a meeting with the Egyptian community in Milan on Saturday and Rome on Sunday. They will then meet with the Egyptian community in Paris on October 6 and in Geneva on October 7. The campaign will include meetings in a number of European capitals and cities. Chairman of the project Imam Yousif told Youm7 the European tour aims to brief Egyptians abroad on Egypt's food project and the recent development. Imam added the tour will be the first after receiving a letter from Egypt's Cabinet announcing the Ministry of Agriculture approved to execute the project. He added the letter expressed the ministry's readiness to offer the required land, water, studies and experiences to serve the project. He added they will respond to all questions by Egyptians during their European tour about the mechanisms of the projects' execution and will listen to their vision and suggestions about the project.
