Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied that former president Hosni Mubarak asked for Israeli help during January 25 Revolution. Netanyahu also said that he is committed to the peace treaty with Egypt, recognizing the importance of this treaty. Regarding the Palestinian issue, Netanyahu said he aims to resume negotiation with Palestinians. The Israel Prime Minister added the timetable imposed by the international Quartet for negotiations is difficult but it is realistic. Netanyahu officially invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for meeting on BBC Arabic. Netanyahu said Israel and US are not sure they would get enough votes at the Security Council to prevent Palestinian membership in the United Nations.
