The Egyptian main stock market indexes tumbled today in the first session of the week. The indexes fell during the morning session, largely as a result of individual Arab and Egyptian sell-offs. The main Egyptian EGX30 index fell 0.79 percent, the EGX70 dropped 1.03 percent and the EGX100 shed 0.94 percent. Major stocks also took a hit in morning trading, including Ezz, down 1.7 percent; Sinai Cement, down 3.5; and Orascom Telecom, down 1.2 percent.
