KAFR EL-SHEIKH, Egypt: The April 6 Movement in Kafr el-Sheikh governorate issued a statement on upcoming internal elections. Before issuing the statement, the members held a meeting to discuss important issues. They announced their total refusal of any member of the formerly ruling National Democratic Party joining the movement, as the NDP corrupted the country for 30 years. The movemnt agreed to opening the initiative of "reuninion" for people to jion the movemnt to serve Egypt, said spokeswoman Marwa Kamal. She added that the movemnet will issue another staement to announce all details about its upcoming elections. The members chose Mohammad Farag, their eldest member, to be the movemnt coordinator during this transitional period. In addution, the movemnt will conduct campaigns across Egypt's governorates to raise people's awareness of the Emergency Law and its negative effects.
