Egypt press reported the remarks made by Ahmed Kamal Abul Magd about the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's regime and the political forces and the application of Islamic law; the attempt to establish a coalition of Islamic parties to contest the next elections; and the study of the Military Council of the draft of law of perfidy. Youm7: A memorandum was sent to the Egyptian Ministry of Housing and Urban Communities on September 10, requesting the head of development of urban cities to investigate the properties owned by leaders of the April 6 Movement and activists in the revolution. These include the founder of the April 6 Youth Movement, Ahmed Maher, its media movement spokesman, Mohammed Adel and activist Esraa Abdel Fattah among others. A source said the memorandum was sent to the Ministry of Housing based on reports submitted against the names listed. Bassem Samir said this method indicates the current authorities are imitating the former regime. The former Secretary General of the National Council for Human Rights and jurist Ahmed Kamal Abul Magd said he gave statements about Mubarak, a coalition of Islamic parties, Egypt's political future and other important issues. Al-Ahram: The Illicit Gains Authority is currently investigating 35 millionaires, high and middle ranking government employees, one of whom invested approximately 40 million EGP (U.S. $) in a food company. Al-Masry Al-Youm: A member of the Political Bureau of the Salafi Party, Nader Bakkar el-Noor, said the party seeks to establish a coalition of Salafi parties to run for parliamentary elections and is contacting them. Al-Shorouq: A military source said the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces is currently examining all demands made by party leaders during their meeting with General Sami Annan. The source added the Council was examining the implications of each requirement, details will be revealed in the decree issued by the council on September 26. Secretary of the Freedom and Justice Party Mohamed el-Beltagy said the Council is willing to amend many problems within electoral law. Al-Gomhoerrya: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said the draft of law of perfidy is currently being prepared and referred to Egypt's ruling military council. He said the Emergency Law's first concern is to protect the revolution and is considering the possibility of cancelling it. This statement was made during the opening of for the Hall of Seasons in the terminal No. 3 at Cairo Airport by Sharaf who said Egypt's economy is based mainly on the infrastructure of airports and various projects.
