Mohamed Saad, Director General of Agriculture in the governorate of North Sinai, was shot by unknown gunmen Wednesday morning as he got into a directorate car. Saad's feet were injured, and he was transferred to Arish Hospital where he is undergoing surgery to remove the bullets, according to a medical source. The source said security forces had been notified and are investigating the incident, while the Governor of North Sinai, Major General Abdul Wahab Mabrouk, and other Sinai officials are headed to the hospital to see the Saad's condition.
