The Israeli ambassador to Egypt, Yitzhak Levanon, is expected to return to Cairo after the Jewish holiday season, according to Voice of Israel radio. Voice of Israel said four Israeli diplomats arrived in Cairo Monday but Levanon and remaining diplomats would return later. The four diplomats that arrived Monday were the consul, chancellor, the head of security and his deputy. The station did not say whether the diplomats would resume work at the current embassy or at another location.
