CAIRO: The Egyptian bourse made early gains in this morning's transactions after dramatically losing 7 billion EGP (U.S. $1.1.7 billion) at close in Thursday's session. The main Egyptian index EGX30 rose 0.74 percent, the EGX70 rose 0.20 percent and the EGX100 fell 0.21 percent. Many of the blue-chip stocks made early gains as well, including Orascom Telecom Company, up 2.21 percent; Castle for Financial Counseling, up 2.21 percent; Commercial International Bank, up 2.21 percent; Hermes Company, up 0.68 percent; El Moltaqa El Arabi, up 3.12 percent; and and El Saeed El Amma Contracting, up 2.96 percent.
