Islamic preacher Mohamed Hassan stressed the necessity of unity to avoid attempts to take advantage of Egypt. He warned groups and requested them to implement foreign agendas to not cope with Egyptians. He clarified there are foreign attempts aiming to break the history of Egypt and split unity among its citizens. He demanded Egyptians to review Islamic history to learn how Prophet Mohamed and his companions dealt in times of war and truce. Hassan added Egyptians suffer from unawareness of current crisis. He stressed the necessity of overcoming such crisis by supporting truth and overthrowing slogans raised by the people of falsehood. He made these statements in his speech delivered in Alexandria. He added the issue is not only political but also religious, so it is necessary to raise religious principles and confront the recent split in Egyptian society. Hassan pointed out the increasing demonstrations negatively affected the Egyptian economy and policies, clarifying the continuation of these protests will impede development processes. On the other hand, one of the Salafi leaders of Alexandria, Ahmed Fareed, criticized those who call to implement the civil laws without Islamic Sharia. He added the Egyptians will not trust in such people.
