GIZA, EGYPT: Dr. Ali Abdel Rahman, Governor of Giza, approved the Shopping and Tourism Festival to be held at Remaya Club, al-Seed Club and Tennis Club from October 25 till November 26. The festival aims to provide jobs for youth, increase production, and support tourism. Every customer participating will receive a 100 EGP (U.S. $17) coupon redeemable at shops participating in the contest. The festival will kick off with a musical performance by pop singer Hakim. Businessmen, media figures, journalists and representatives from Giza governorate, The Ministry of Agriculture, The Ministry of Industry, The Ministry of Social Justice and Solidarity, and The Consumer Protection Administration will attend the reception. The festival also offers prizes, including ten cars, ten motorcycles, 15 laptops, 15 LCD monitors, ten refrigerators, ten computers, ten makeup collections, and five month-long contracts with auto maintenance centers. Abdel Rahman promised festival organizers any help to resolve any difficulties ahead of the festival.
