CAIRO: Several members of the Egyptian former regime were allowed to have their families visit in Farm prison yesterday. Members included the former Egyptian Prime Minister, Atif Abeed; Egyptian businessmen, Mahmoud Mansi and Hesham Talaat Mostafa; and several former members of the People Assembly. The families and lawyers of former Egypt's prime minister, Ahmed Nazif, the former head of Office of the Presidency Republic, Zakaria Azmi, and Egyptian businessman accused of the Battle of the Camels, Hani Kamal, visited them immediately after receiving permission to visit. The former Chairman of the Budget Committee in the Egyptian People's Assembly and prominent regime power in the dissolved National Democratic Party (NDP) Ahmed Ezz, the former Egyptian Minister of Housing, Ahmed Mograby, the former Minister of Tourism, Zoheir Garana, and the former head of TV and radio sector, Osama Sheikh, also were allowed visits by their families members yesterday.
