A group of activists on Facebook launched a campaign aiming to plant a million trees to afforest the Egyptian streets. The new campaign urges people to plant a tree outside each house and to take care of the ones that are already there. The campaign plans to start with planting 1,000 trees first and gradually reach the terminal goal; a million trees. The campaign to afforest will begin with the gathering of volunteers next January, each will be handed a tree to plant and be responsible over it. The activists employed some religious items to urge people to plant the trees.
