CAIRO: Former Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, Khadija el-Gamal and Heidi Rasekh, wives of Alaa and Gamal Mubarak, and Omar Mubarak, Alaa's son, will visit the sons of ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Torah Prison one day before the third session of their trial is scheduled to commence. Alaa and Gamal Mubarak are charged with killing demonstrators during the popular uprising during the January 25 Revolution. The former first lady and a former Mubarak minister spoke at length with Gamal and Alaa about their legal complications. It is also expected that the former first lady will be delivering messages between the former president and his sons regarding legal arrangements for the upcoming session. The next session is more sensitive and secretive as the Court decided to stop broadcasting the trial on Egyptian television. This will be the fourth visit from the former first lady since the Mubarak sons were arrested on April 13. She earlier visited Gamal and Alaa in August and on the first day of Eid el-Fitr.
