March 19 Coalition issued a statement yesterday evening announcing a protest on Friday September 9 to support the Egyptian Army in Roxy Square in opposition of the protests planned in Tahrir Square. The coalition dubbed it the Friday of Local Legitimacy. The coalition stated the claims for September 9 protests in Tahrir Square are “suspicious.” The coalition believe protests in Tahrir aim to destabilize Egypt's stability and security, incite Egyptians against the army, open the door for Zionist interference, give rebels and mercenaries the chance to protest in Cairo and facilitate the process of smuggling weapons and arms. The coalition announced its complete support of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) during its transitional phase. They demand the purification of the revolution from traitors and foreigner funds in order to keep the Egyptian January 25 Revolution national and free of western fund. They also demand criminalizing the law of protesting against those who harm production progress, to trial all those accused of corruption and to announce the results of investigation of the movements, which were accused of having foreign funds.
