Alliance Française is organizing an international photography competition titled, “Planet Women” (Planetes Femmes). Winners will receive a weeklong stay in Paris and their photographs will be exhibited in a Parisian gallery. The contest to determine Egypt's finalists will be held September 15-25 in Port Said. Submissions should express the qualities of Egyptian women, such as beauty, motherhood, isolation, intelligence, or adolescence, depending on the artists' vision. The winning photos will be viewed in an Alliance Française exhibition in Paris, where the international photography contest will be held, where all the winners from across the world will compete against each other. Alliance Française is non-profit association that aims to develop he French culture and language-specific among the different countries. The competition is held in coordination with Courrier International magazine.
