The Egyptian former President Hosni Mubarak's trial should be forbidden and is a violation of the teachings of Prophet Mohamed, said the head of Ansar al-Sunna assembly, Mahmoud Amer. He said Mubarak has no authority now and so it is unacceptable to prosecute and insult him. He described, during a seminar held by the Mubarak's Sons Union, those people deny Mubarak's role in 1973 war are unrealistic personalities. Amer said there are people who work to manipulate Egyptians to create sedition among them. He described the Egyptian January 25 revolution as a sedition targeting Egyptians and affecting them. He said insulting Mubarak aims to retaliate and isn't serving the objectives of the fair trial. He added such insults aim to reduce the value of the accomplishments Mubarak achieved during his tenure. On the other hand, the public coordinator of Mustafa Mahmoud coalition, Samir Abdel Aziz, said Mubarak should be honored, not insulted. Abdel Aziz said the January 25 Revolution was one of ruin, stressing Egypt's destiny is vague, especially with the current events deteriorating the situation.
