Former candidate for the position of Egyptian Minister of Communication Hazim Abdel Azeem, who was excluded at the eleventh hour, today said he appreciated Youm7 for publishing his response to a story that partially contributed to his unsuccessful bid for the ministry. He praised Youm7 on his Twitter account saying, “Youm7's comment was objective and didn't include any offenses.” Youm7 journalist Mohamed Tantawi and Azeem held a discussion over Twitter during which Tantawi claimed that the report filed by Youm7 was not derogatory.
