The Cultural Development Fund, chaired by Mohammed Abu Saada, will host several events, activities and exhibitions during the holy month of Ramadan. The Prince Taz Palace will host “The Egyptian Snapshot,” an exhibition of both professional and amateur photography, until September 26. Guests of honor include: Rafaat Noam, Sobhy El Sayed, Abdel Rahman, Abdu and Wahed Albalkasy. The exhibition will also showcase paintings and sculpture capturing the January 25 Revolution. The Talaat Harb Center will host a cultural exhibition featuring a marionette theatre and artwork inspired by the “Leila el Kebeera” marionette performance. Wekalet el Ghouri will host a showcase about the Whirling Dervishes by Noha Abd el Maksoud until August 25. It will also host an Arabic calligraphy exhibition until August 25. The Center for Traditional Crafts in Fustat will also hold an exhibition of traditional crafts and products like pottery, jewelry and stained glass. The Center will also hold a book fair from September 14 to September 20.
