CAIRO: A million-man demonstration will be held this Friday in Tahrir Square ‘For Egypt's Love,' according to Alaa Din Masy Abu Azayem, sheikh of the Alazmih sect. “This demonstration will not be against anyone or any party,” said Azayem. “We do not aim to oppose any religious, intellectual or political trends.” It should be noted that some political powers have been searching for another location to hold demonstrations, as the military has refused to permit demonstrations in Tahrir, which was the epicenter of the country's January uprising. However, the alternatives – including Abdeen Square and the Cairo Conference Center – were not widely supported and the political forces prefer to hold the demonstration in Tahrir.
