Iranian official to visit Egypt

The head of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Relations committee, Alaa al-Din Boroujerdi, will arrive in Cairo for an official visit tomorrow.
Iran's Fars news agency said the Iranian official will invite high-profile Egyptian personalities to participate in an Oct. 1 conference in Tehran aiming to support the Palestinian uprising.
Boroujerdi will meet with Mohamed Orabi, Secretary General of the Arab League, during his visit in Cairo.
The official is currently in Qatar as the special envoy of the speaker of the Iranian parliament. There, he met with the speaker of the Qatari parliament to invite his Qatari counterpart to the conference.
