Likely Egyptian presidential candidate and former Arab League chief Amr Moussa yesterday criticized some of the martial law demands made by the February 11 Coalition. Moussa supports some demands, like the holding of presidential elections before reforming the constitution, followed by parliamentary elections. The February 11 Coalition and the National Association for Defending the Revolution prepared an initiative for the ruling military council. The initiative includes four articles executing martial law in Egypt regarding security systems and the formation of a constituent assembly – charged with the reformation of the constitution – composed of judges and representatives of political movements The initiative was given to Amr Moussa and will be presented to all Islamic powers and presidential candidates, said Ghada Talaat, media coordinator of the February 11 Coalition.
