50 volunteered lawyers to defend Mubarak

CAIRO: More than 50 volunteered lawyers, lead by the lawyer Yosry Abdel Razik, to join the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's defense team in the first hearing of his trial on Wednesday in the Police Academy in Tagamu el-Khamis.
The volunteer lawyers told Youm7, 800 lawyers of Mubarak's supporters gathered with the coalition at Mostafa Mahmoud Square. They chose 50 lawyers to join Mubarak's defense team based on cases they filed to the court for urgent matters.
They called for the revocation of the decision of the general attorney of referring Mubarak to the criminals. They added the rest of the lawyers will join Mubarak's supporters and will be present outside the Police Academy during Mubarak's trial.
