The Grain Industry Chamber in Egypt's Federation of Industries announced the establishment of a joint stock company in Sudan, in which all businessmen who are interested in wheat agriculture and industry can invest. The establishment of the company came after the Egyptian government was allocated one million acres in Sudan. Egypt's minister of industry and foreign trade will hold a meeting to determine the allocated space to cultivate wheat, which will fill the gap between production and consumption in Egypt. "A plan to increase wheat imports from Argentina, Australia, Maldives and some European countries will be prepared by the new season," said sources in the Grain Industry Chamber. It is expected that Russia will reduce its wheat exports.
