The board of directors of the Egyptian Judges' Club will hold a meeting tomorrow headed by judge Ahmed el-Zend to discuss the amendment of the judiciary authority law, and to check the workflow in the Cassation Court, said Judge Mahmoud el-Sherif, secretary-general of the Judges' Club. Efforts are underway to end the drafting of the new judiciary authority law – including the amendments. The new law will be presented and discussed among Judges' Clubs in various Egyptian governorates, said el-Sherif. The most important amendment in the new law is the transfer of judicial inspection from the Ministry of Justice to the Supreme Judicial Council.
