A training course by the April 6 movement was held to show the youth how to avoid violence and communicate with society using dialogue, said the Egyptian broadcaster, Moataz Matar . Mater said the course was held in Serbia. It was supervised, however, by Egyptian security, and no one opposed that. It should be noted that the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) has accused the April 6 movement of creating strife between the people and the Egyptian army. The course in Serbia has turned into a charge of treason, said Mater. Peaceful movements call for people to avoid cooperating with the regime in order to achieve the demands of the people, he added. Mater said the training course presented a model of peaceful political movements that can bring about change without using violence. Mater said the April 6 movement played a vital role before the January 25 Revolution in raising awareness amongst the people. He also said that the former regime accused the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) of treason. The MB, however, now has a big role in society, he added.
