CAIRO: Egypt's new Minister of Health, Dr. Amr Helmi, met with protestors at Tahrir Square yesterday at 2am. He talked with those who are going on a hunger strike, and said his legitimacy came from the square itself. He also said that it will take a month to place a plan and create a timetable. Protestors, however, refused his speech and asked him to leave Tahrir Square. Shrief al-roumy, a member of the April 6 Movement, criticized Helmi's appearance in Tahrir Square at such a late time. He also said that Helmi went to Tahrir to beg protestors. Protestors are not opposing the new Minister, however, it has to be noted that he is not saying anything new, added al-Roumy.
