CAIRO: The general coalition of policemen will be holding the fifth conference, in the Ministry of Interior Club next Thursday. They will discuss a variety of topics including creating a new law to govern policing and creating a fund for the dead and injured police officers. They will also change the negative coverage and depiction of police and activities through media. They will give support to the Minister of Interior, General Mansour el-Issawi, in order for him to keep his position as minister after the media brought an onslaught he had to face recently. Media representative of the coalition, Ahmed Mustafa, said the coalition supports the Minister and they trust he will implement changes in the police force soon.
