ALEXANDRIA, Egypt: An Imam of one Alexandria mosque, Ahmed el-Mahalway, called upon all Egyptians to provide the Supreme Council of the Armed forces (SCAF) a two-week period to achieve the revolution demands. The Imam said there are police officers who deserve respect and not all of them are corrupt. El-Mahalway warned the military council of the citizen's anger if their demands are not met. He refused the idea of excluding the military council from running Egypt's affairs during this transition period, and warned Egypt could witness the same danger like other Arab countries are, such as Libya, Syria, and Yemen. Thousands of protestors are gathered in Saad Zaghloul Square n Alexandria to call for firing the head of Alexandrian police due to his bad history in dealing with demonstrators.
