CAIRO: Monuments that were stolen from a museum in Qantara on January 28 were returned this week, said Zahi Hawass, Egypt's Minister of Antiquities. Hawas said the stolen monuments were 22 pieces belonging to the Hyksos era and five coins belonging to the Ptolemaic Dynasty. The stolen monuments were enrolled on the red list which was presented to the International Interpol, said Mohamed Abdul Maksoud, the Secretary General of the Council of Antiquities.
