CAIRO: In response to comments from Youm7 readers, Cairo Governor Abdel-Kawi Khalifa decided to grant a housing unit to an Egyptian citizen who had expressed his complaint in a comment to Youm7. The governor said in his message to Youm7, “in the framework of communicating between Cairo Governorate and your newspaper and interaction with your readers, the governorate studied the request of Hassan Said Mohamed, who commented on your newspaper's website requesting the governorate to grant him a housing unit due to his bad financial condition.” The message added that the governorate examined the request thorough conducting a social instigation. The citizen was found eligible to receive a housing unit, so Cairo's governor responded to his demand. The message asked Youm7 to notify Mohamed to come to the headquarters of the governorate quickly.
