Dubai International Film Festival showcases a group of Arabic films that won many prizes in ‘Shoubak' Festival in London, considered the first festival to celebrate modern Arabic culture. Seven films were chosen in the Dubai International Film Festival 2010 and the Gulf Film Festival to give English-speaking audiences an idea about the Arab world and Arabic cinema. Shoubak Festival includes more than 30 artistic activities and held in London from July 4 to July 24. On July 14, the Dubai Festival and the Institute of International Visual Arts (INIVA) will showcase films in London. There will be seminars to discuss the modern Emirati experience.
