There are conflicting reports regarding the resumption of the flow of natural gas from Egypt to Israel after an explosion damaged the lines leading to Irsrael, Syria and Jordan three days ago. Israeli public radio quoted an official from the North Sinai government denying that the flow of gas from Egypt to Israel was resumed yesterday, Tuesday. The anonymous source said the line was destroyed only 48 hours earlier by unidentified masked men, and that investigations were under way to find out the perpetrators of the bombing. The source explained that the Egyptian process of re-pumping requires a long time to test the process, and that it was only pumping gas to the domestic market currently. Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported that the process of pumping gas to Israel had resumed after the bombing.
