The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mahman Parest, said improving Egyptian-Iranian relations will achieve the interests of the region. He added supporting cooperation with Middle Eastern countries is a main priority in Iran's foreign agenda. Iranian officials reacted to the declarations of Egypt's Foreign Ministry about their vision of gulf security as a red line that shouldn't be crossed. Relations between Egypt and Iran will not harm the Gulf's security. Mahman confirmed Iran's readiness to cooperate with Egypt with its nuclear activities. He stressed Iran can transfer nuclear science to others in the region, especially Egypt. Mahman's declarations confirmed what the chairman of the Higher Council of the National Security, Saeed Jalili, said. The Iranian diplomat said the sensitive conditions of the region pushes to achieve unity in the region. He stressed differences and division among the states will achieve interest of the Israeli entity, which works to intimidating people of the region and make them fear Iran and Islam. He emphasized Iran's quests to support relations with different countries in the Middle East and achieve legal demands, security and stability, regardless of conspiracies aiming to separate Middle Eastern countries. The Iranian official also welcomed visits of Egyptian elite to Iran, especially since such visits contribute to the support of relations between them. He told the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar they are prepared to welcome him if he expresses his readiness to visit Iran. He added the Egyptian public diplomacy delegation managed to accomplish notable achievements, expressing Iranian welcome of Al-Azhar's leader's visit.
