SHARQEIA, Egypt: Fire blazed up in a factory of electrical devices in the town of 10th of Ramadan in the Sharqeia governorate. The blaze lasted for eight hours after failed attempts of distinguishing the fire. The general prosecution is now investigating the incident. The fire started in the fourth floor of ‘Fresh' factory and engulfed the entire building. Flame reached the production lines, equipment, material raw stores, which have flammable liquids. Around 25 fire trucks tried to extinguish the fire that lasted 8 hours. The injured were submitted to hospitals. The initial causalities are estimated 16 million EGP (U.S. $2.6 million), while the main cause of the blaze is still unknown.
