A Muslim Brotherhood spokesman said the party welcomes an official connection with the United States in order to explain its vision. "The United States has decided to continue official contact with the Muslim Brotherhood party," said a U.S. official. This American response reflects the Brotherhood's growing importance, which will annoy Israel and its supporters in America. "The Muslim Brotherhood's contact with US will help clarify our opinions on general issues," said Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Mohamed Saad al-Katati. The American President Barak Obama said American officials and analysts have no choice other than to create relations with the Muslim Brotherhood, particularly after the fall of President Hosni Mubarak on February 11, 2011.
