The potential presidential candidate, Dr. Hazem Salah Abou Ismail, assured implementing the Islamic Sharia law and ensures equality among all citizens and achieving all the Coptic demands. Abou Ismail added he is proud of being affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) although he is not a member, and sure he will gain the MB's votes in the next presidential elections. Abou Ismail denied forcing Coptic Christians to pay ransom if he took the presidency in Egypt, he said during an interview on al-Hayat al-Youm evening talk show. He warned of lack of awareness and rumors that aim to destabilize Egypt. He called for more cooperation among Egyptians to restore security and stability.
