Egypt press reports on the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces' (SCAF) dialogue with Egyptian Youth, Egyptian former President Hosni Mubarak's trial appointment, and allocating 700 EGP (U.S. $117) as minimum wage. Youm7: According to daily newspaper Youm7, former National Democratic Party (NDP) members will run for upcoming parliamentary elections that will be held in September. The women who won their seats in the women quota will also run for the elections. Egyptian Minister of Antiquities, Zahi Hawass confirmed the reports published by Youm7 about the destruction of ancient Egyptian relief in Asyut, Upper Egypt. He added he formed a committee to inspect the site, noting he will announce the outcomes of the committee's report. Al-Ahram: SCAF started a dialogue with Revolution Youth Coalition to clear out matter for them. A great number of youth accepted the SCAF invitation, said state-run newspaper Al-Ahram. Court of Appeal announced Hosni Mubarak, his sons, and escapee businessman Hussein Salem will appear at the Cairo Criminal Court on August 3. Al-Akhbar: Egyptian cabinet chaired by Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf agreed on several projects and laws, among of which is the law allowing areas for united worship. In other news, the 100th session of the International Labor conference discussed all countries that are included in the black list. It is expected Egypt will be lifted off the list since the Minister of Labor, Ahmed Boraei submitted a bill on the syndicates' freedom. Al-Wafd: Opposition newspaper Al-Wafd reported Prime Minister Essam Sharaf will run for presidential elections. The paper added Revolution Youth Coalition will announce their desire to choose Sharaf as Egypt's future president. Son of the former People's Assembly spokesman, Fathi Sorour officially agreed on detection his father's fortune, while the Illicit Gain Authority investigated the former Minister of Information, Asan al-Fiqi's fortune. Al-Masry Al-Youm: Member of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), Sobhi Saleh said criticism against him targets and threatens the MB, Muslims, and the Islamic call.
