A source from the prison authority revealed that former chairman of the budget committee of the disbanded National Democratic Party, Ahmed Ezz has still not been subject to any investigations within Mazraa prison in Torah since the start of his incarceration. The source also showed that in all cases he was representing himself by relevant authorities. The source denied at the same time the video aired yesterday on television and subsequently on YouTube of a policeman making tea for Ezz inside one of the investigative unit offices in which he was questioned in recently. The same source said the policeman in the video works outside the prison, and is not one of the officers assigned to secure and guard the prison. It added that Alaa and Gamal Mubarak are undergoing investigation in prison, and have not gone before an investigative unit since they were incarcerated. The source said this was probably due to the difficulties present in securing their exit from prison.
