Despite demands from some sections of Egyptian political society calling to delay upcoming parliamentary elections, most of Youm7's readers support the military's decision to hold elections on time rather than delay them. Youm7 asked readers, "Do you agree that delaying the next parliamentary elections will allow for the creation of more parties?" About 58.3 percent of participants voted yes, while 40.31 percent voted no and 1.39 percent voted as not interested. The youth of the revolution and some political movements demanded to delay the elections that are scheduled to be held in September. They think this will give time for political parties to work on themselves and prove themselves to Egyptians. Other political parties think that holding elections soon will achieve stability and security in the country.
