CAIRO: Egypt press focused on several issues including the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces' (SCAF) statement on peaceful transition to the authority, the Iranian diplomat case of being accused of spying in Egypt, and the re-imprisonment of former People Assembly Spokesman Fathi Sorour for ‘The Battle of the Camels.' Al-Ahram: According to state-run newspaper Al-Ahram, scientist Dr. Ahmed Zewail described the day Hosni Mubarak's ousting as the most important day in his life. Zewail said Egyptians will rebuild Egypt after the Revolution with their own hands. Meanwhile, SCAF Chairman Hussein Tantawi meets the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday to update him on the latest developments on the Palestinian case especially after meeting Arab peace initiative committee in Qatar. Al-Akhbar: Chairman of the Scientific Miracles of the Quran committee, Zaghlol al-Nagar described Mubarak's regime as an ‘evil regime' during a symposium about the January 25 Revolution in Menofyia University, said Al-Akhbar newspaper. The Egyptian National Accord conference, chaired by Yahia el-Gamal, resumed at the People's Assembly Headquarters. The conference classified the discussions into four categories; electoral system; freedom, rights and public duties; general authorities; and military forces and judicial monitoring. Al-Wafd: The differences between the Egyptian government and the Kingdom Holding Company owned by al-Waleed bin Talal was renewed on an allocated piece of the land to the company in Toshka. Bin Talal refused the new proposal of allocating his 25 percent of land, which he took during Mubarak's regime. Al-Masry Al-Youm: SCAF announced its support to January 25 Revolution since it started, and every Egyptian has the right to live a better life. SCAF reassured it will not take over authority. The High State Security Prosecution investigated the Iranian diplomat accused of spying in the Iranian Affairs bureau in Cairo to be deported to Tehran. The court released him because he has diplomatic immunity. Al-Dostor: Host of '10:00 P.M.' TV program, Mona al-Shazly and her guest, Msulim Brotherhood, Sobhi Saleh had a heated argument live on air. Al-Shazly accused Saleh of swearing in the name of God over a lie. Foreign Minister Nabil al-Araby charged Israel with the responsibility of the Palestinian prisoners' suffering, adding this imprisonment violates the fourth Geneva Convention, and Human Rights Laws. Al- Gomhorreya: The Minister of Heath Ashraf Hatem denied reporters' claims of former President Hosni Mubarak's escape. Hatem assured that Mubarak is still in Sharm el-Sheikh Hospital.
