CAIRO: Egypt's capital is currently preparing for its largest music festival after the January 25 Revolution which toppled its 30-year dictator from power. The festival, entitled, ‘For you, Egypt,' will run from July 21-24. The festival aims to give Tourism a boost and to show that post-revolutionary Egypt is safe and ready for visitors. More than 25 of the most important pop singers and musicians in Egypt and the Arab world will participate in the festival. Among them are Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Sherine, Amr Diab, Hany Shaker, Mohammed Foua, Ali el-Hajjar, Assi Helani, Wael Jassar, Latifa, Samira Said, Saber and Bahaa Sultan, Ramy Sabry, Diana Karazon, Hussein al-Jasmi, Kazem al-Saher, Shatha Hassoun, and many others. The festival will be held at Cairo International Stadium and will run for four nights. The festival is held under the auspices of the Egyptian ministries of Tourism and Social Solidarity, Egypt Air and the Cairo Stadium administration. It is being organized by Castin Talents event planning company and two others.
